Airport Travel Agency, Inc. is seeking a qualified professional to fill the Manager position.

Responsibilities include:

  • Plan, direct, and coordinate the operations of the San Francisco airport travel agency and store.

  • Monitor and review historical sales data and forecast achievable sales revenue for new products and services.

  • Analyze previous merchandising activities and market trend, then formulate new pricing policies of products and services.

  • Maintain product and service logs.

  • Investigate lost sales and track, collate and interpret sales figures.

  • Determine and manage sales targets.

  • Prepare monthly income and expenditure reports.

  • Monitor and work with suppliers to ensure that they efficiently and effectively provide needed goods or services within budgetary limits and customer requirements.

  • Keep abreast of new products and services.

  • Set the S.M.A.R.T. goals for profit maximization of the company.

  • Identify, acquire, and showcase resources in a manner commensurate with the goals and objectives of the company.

  • Determine the current market demand for the company’s products and services.

  • Keep abreast of new tools and software to enhance the company efficiency and effectiveness.

  • Look for opportunities to grow and expand the business.

  • Monitor competitors, conduct surveys, benchmark best practices, create new marketing plans and update existing marketing strategies.

  • Analyze customer service related information and evaluate the results to resolve customer service challenges and identify opportunities to improve customer service.

  • Set standards and meeting Key Performance Indicators for business targets.

  • Hire, train, and manage staff to ensure delivery of a high level of customer satisfaction and accuracy in all areas of service.

  • Prepare staff work schedules, assign specific duties, and monitor performance to make improvements or take corrective action.

Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent degree in Management, Business Administration or a related field. Position also requires coursework and/or experience must have included Managerial Accounting, Marketing Principles, Supervision, Organizational Behavior, Operational Management Quantitative Methods, Marketing Concepts and Practices, Principles of Selling, Microsoft Excel for Business, and Innovative Management Perspectives.
